Last year’s Labor Day trip to Wind Creek was so great that Kelly and I decided to run it back for a second year! Shortly after we left the campground in Sept 2020 we reserved the exact same spot for Sept 2021. We love this particular spot bc it is so convenient to the water. We take the kayaks, floats, and our new SUP and easily drop in for some fun.
This year I headed down on Friday evening with Carter to set up the camper while Kelly stayed back with the girls to get things packed. They showed up Saturday around 10:00 and we immediately hit the water. Later that afternoon Carter and I left to meet Dad for a trip to the Auburn game! We had a blast while the girls did all kinds of fun camp stuff back at the site. Sunday was a full on family day, including our annual tradition of touring Lake Martin with Kendall and family on their pontoon!
