Monte Sano State Park, 10-7-16

Monte Sano State Park, Huntsville, AL 

We went to Monte Sano State Park with our friends the Williams and had such a great time!This was our second "annual" trip together and Monte Sano is such a really cool place!  Perfect fall weather and great company!  

It was also Caroline's third birthday!  We decided to go camping with her favorite people this year.  We made crowns and painted nails and had cupcakes.  She was fully celebrated!

Donald picked a camping spot that had a lot of room for the William's tent and our camper, and also this small playground was connected by a small trail, all in the middle of the woods.  Perfect spot!

We had so much fun on the trails.  The kids did pretty well on the walk... of course Caroline had to be carried some of the way the view at the end was worth it!

Amazing views at Monte Sano!

Mark was the cook for the weekend- we ate well!  The kids enjoyed a fun movie night too:)  Before we hit the road the next morning we had an intense game of wall-ball!  The kids may have thought we were a little crazy!
